Lausanne is U17 Swiss Champion 2024. The team from Lac Leman, coached by Zoltan Hyc, repeated its success in the junior leagues after winning the U15 title in 2023 and good placements in U11 and U13.

A particular situation was the qualification of two B group teams, SC Zug and Aquastar. Zug won the decisive qualification game against Carouge, with the winning goal of Iskander Shin 19 seconds before the end of the game.
Aquastar had a nail-biting qualification game in a Lake Zurich derby against SC Horgen, the winner of the U17 Season 2023. Ultimately, Aquastar, in a display of sheer determination, consolidated the lead in the last quarter, qualifying for the final six tournaments in Basel.

In the quarterfinals, Zug had a strong opponent. Lugano Aquatics took the lead in the second quarter, with Gabriele Pizzoli scoring four goals.
In the second quarterfinal, Aquastar tied the game in the last minutes with Glenn Valsangiamo (5 goals).
The game was decided via penalty shots, where Valsangiamo again scored the winning penalty shot after missing the first.

The semifinals show precise results, with Lausanne winning against Lugano 18 to 7 and Aquastar overcoming Basel, one of the tournament’s favorites, 15-8.

During the final, Lausanne took an early lead in the first quarter, leading by 4-1. Aquastar fought hard to come back in the game, ending the third quarter 6 to 5, but Lausanne extended the lead in the last quarter, ending the game 9 to 6.
