SC Horgen vs SC Schaffhausen

After an even first quarter (2-2), Schaffhausen started to get better and better into the game. The team from the Rhine Falls got 9 to 5 in front thanks to the goals of an excellent Nemanja Silj. This considering that Schaffhausen was playing without Hungarian lefthander Mark Kallay due to injury in the first quarter and head coach Jovan Radejovic due to suspension (multiple red cards in the season and protests after the match against Horgen on the 23rd of May).

An interesting episode was the definitive exclusion of Philipp Herzog of Horgen due to misconduct. Inexplicably he put a second ball into the playing field that caused a penalty shot for the guest team and his exclusion for the remainder of the game. Schaffhausen took advantage of this present and transformed the penalty shot with Nemanja Silj, getting 6 to 3 in front.

The last quarter was the best one for the home team. Horgen scored five goals thanks to an excellent playing rhythm and goals from captain Petar Bjelajac, Domonkos Szer, and Marko Manojlovic.
Both teams had chances to win the game at the last minute. With a score of 10-10, Horgen missed a counterattack opportunity due to a wrong long pass that ended in a turnover and a re-counterattack from Schaffhausen that Nikola Milovanovic could not exploit.

The game ended with a tie, with Horgen calling a timeout 2 seconds before the end of the match. This result is the signal that after a very consistent Kreuzlingen, there could be more even matches coming up between Carouge, Schaffhausen, and Horgen. Horgen will play the next game against Carouge Natation which could mean second place in the league at the end of the regular season.
The second place is essential as the team automatically qualifies for the semifinals with the advantage of three home games in the best-of-five series.

Carouge Natation vs Lugano Sharks

Carouge showed all their offensive abilities in the vital win over Lugano. French center-forward Romain Blary scored five goals, and Carouge could control the advantage throughout the game.
Carouge still has some mathematical chances for second place, depending on the crucial upcoming game against Horgen and the result of Horgen’s last match against Lugano.
